iPads in the library

We are starting small and focusing on learning what students already know about the touchability of the iPad.  Then we'll spend the summer learning and experimenting (generally having fun) with the mobile technology.

- camera app - 2nd graders had fun with the camera
- piccollage app - 3rd graders brainstormed "the summer me"
- flipgrid app - 2nd and 3rd graders reflected on their accomplishments and learning

May in the Library

We are staying busy in May. Second and third graders are finishing their poems, first grade is having fun with Steve Jenkins' books (we read Actual Size) and kindergarten giggled through Mo Willem's Don't Let the Pigeon Stay up Late!  Everyone enjoyed the "Eye Read" bookmarks.

Summer Reading...

...happened so fast. Summer reading, will I get to it at last?

Yes and yes!
